Lucky for you they’ve just reorganized the forums so it’s a bit easier to navigate the chaos. I would definitely recommend the puzzles on the website after reading the newcomer threads. Oh yeahhh that the Omega Council. If someone shady does contact you (like someone from Sentinel) you can call and tell them about it
