I believe there are many more BOS members but the ones in the Periscope were the ones who made it to the event.

My question is, why they are meeting there? Wouldn’t BOS want to do their shady stuff as far away as possible from the OOA?

Isn’t the BOS basically just the OOA version of the Scientology Freezoners? The ones who still very much believe the words of the philosophy/religon, but have just detracted from the organization portion of it because of the behaviors of the higher ups?

The broadcast being titled Detractors? Suggests that the BOS event and the OOA organizers might not be as binary as we’ve been led to believe.

Is it a set up to have BOS members congregate in one location? Is it a legit BOS function to move against the OOA? We’all have to wait and see.

Part of me has always suspected that the BOS is just another front for the OOA’s trails and tribulations. It would also make sense why Addison was so easy to accept them into her ranks…and why Sentinel is still alive after so many of us thought him murdered.

I suspect the people at the location already know the answer by now.

Just a thought. If Ascension is all a front for the OSDM to be collecting information on people’s emotions and reactions, I tend to think the opposition between BOS and the OOA is just another avenue to get these responses. So if we have seen behind the curtain and know that these are all actors in an elaborate play to gather information, do old alliances still ring true? Do they even matter in this new world?

I’ll disagree there. Feelings, whether elicited from a theater performance or a real life event, are always real. I still feel a lot for this story, the people involved, and especially for the lovely community that has formed.

Oh my goodness, I did not mean to oppose that whatsoever. Sorry if that was implied. This journey and this community are most incredible. I was just thinking about the idea that this might be an experiment through which we’ve all felt so much, and the subsequent gut-punch of a man behind the curtain just gathering data.

Of course, if you were a nefarious organization and needed to close up shop and disappear, defanging all suspicions by claiming “it’s all just a play within a play!” wouldn’t be a bad tactic. If you could sell it.
