Officially just under 2 weeks left before I’m heading home. I am the weirdest mixture of happy and sad. I’m ussually not overly emotional over sentimental things, but I felt like shedding a tear when I had to close my bank account, or when seeing one of the kids I worked with when I go and sneak meals at the cafeteria. So, our plane is missing our pilots! The flight they were supposed to come in on got cancelled and they can’ find them!

So plane has been at the gate for the past half hour, but they are not letting people on yet. Hopefully don’t get stuck here too long.

So I’ve been trying to sleep as I have to up again in about an hour to start the 3h journey to the airport and I am completely wide awake. This sucks!

First leg of journey done! Now the long flight into LA, about 6 hrs, hopefully nothing too important happens while I’m in the air!

So, that’s it, my final day of work here in the US is over and done with. It’s a really bitter sweet moment. Now got a month vacation to look forward to before returning home and also….. I Am The Chosen! Hope to meet a bunch of you at ScareLA

New facebook post advising people to be near a computer at 3 pm, but I’m working so might miss out

Be near a computer is usually a forewarning of an upcoming periscope.

My phone can’t handle periscopes live if I’m not connected to wi-fi, so hopefully I can get it to load after it’s finished

The airport I’ll be flying through in less than 2 months just got attacked by terrorists. I am seriously a bit scared of my trip home now.

Yes, I have a 9 hour layover there. It’s horrible what has happened. They specifically seem to have attacked the international terminal.

I just hate all the hate that is in the world, maybe I’m too naive, but I feel for all the people affected by this. and wish people could get along. People already die from random accidents, which is bad enough. My cousin passed away 2 days ago after driving into an elephant. There is no need for people to be killing each other.

I’m really sorry miss. I know this is no consolation, but you were not there during the attack, and your passage home is likely to be well guarded, and safe. We’ll all be thinking of you, please check in and let us know you get there safely.
