Are we a cult? We aren’t a cult. We just like intense and weird things and are open to a communal sense of wanting to open our minds. We are not a cult… right? I am not doubting, it is just getting more difficult to defend as time goes on ahaha.

    • Hmmm.. Well, to bring up an obvious example, we have a character who was to be stripped and tortured for two hours in front of strangers, who has reached out to multiple people, says she is scared and in pain, and the vast majority of participants defended the OOA, said we can’t possibly know what is truly going on, we can’t assume anything, maybe she’s having a great time, etc.

People have been successfully indoctrinated, and they passionately defend the OOA despite many / any incidents that should probably raise suspicion. As a thought exercise, ponder this: If this was a *real* cult, what would anyone be doing differently?

      • This ^ is amazing to hear @111error.

        • It is getting more difficult to defend. A few people have asked what I’m getting myself into. But, as always @lllerror, you are once again spot on. I think a lot of people would be doing a lot of things differently.
