Can someone explain what this is? Was it part of an old puzzle? Where did the picture come from? Does the artifact belong to an apostle?

That’s exactly it. It came from this video

The description on the vantablack is from the description of a book that was found by solving the puzzle on the About page.

  What is funny is that the way I came across it, was because hearing episode 12 from your podcast, you explained that there is an importance to number 227, so I wondered if it was too much of a long shot if I used the number as an extension on the website’s URL, and it worked! I found something!

Trying not to spoil Ale’s puzzle adventure, but did anyone flip that hidden recording (which I just found *smug face*)? I can find reference to it on the forum, but not exactly what it said and I don’t know how to play it backwards…

  Ah, the classics. I’ll give you the same piece of advice that helped me a long time ago.
  
  It’s less of a puzzle and more of a vision test. Don’t think about how to solve it, literally ask yourself “What do you see?”
