It was around 9 central time, got a call just as I was about to jump in the shower. A female voice greeted me (at first I thought it was my aunt calling me). She told me where I lived and told me to be more active on the forums if I wish this to continue. Hey does anyone else find it ironic that the OOA is constantly mentioning how technology is taking over our minds & brainwashing us, yet they are constantly forcing us to be more and more engaged with social media, forums, etc.? Why do you think this is? They seem to be “above” this behavior.. yet.. not?

I believe @111error was referring to the OOA Institute being hypocritical rather than your comment @sovereignskies Would you deny then that they are being hypocritical? It seems so obvious to me that they are simultaneously bashing those “obsessed” with technology while persuading us to use it even more.

I wish I had a more complete answer to your question. I’ve only received bits and pieces of the story. For example: March 8, 1994 is a date symbolizing “the death of an idea… but it goes back much farther than this.”

3. Is that it’s just OOA tradition/salutation.
The rest we have pieces of information that we can gain from media, events, things that have been given out, but really none of us ACTUALLY know.

Like he said, we don’t have many solid answers. We don’t know much about ~4 and we don’t know whose side many characters are on, or much about the sides, or much about anything else.
We don’t know what the OOA wants, only that some of the things they do look very dark and cultish.

Tactically speaking, if I were BoS, I’d be very quiet during this. With III and Four gearing up for a confrontation, they don’t need to do anything to damage the OOA. They’re already doing that for them

Interesting thoughts. Kinda guessed that now would have been a good time to strike, given the fracturing taking place it would have been easier to take down a group confused and lost of guidance than a unified front. Welp, only time will tell how the hell this plays out.

Given all the information we’ve gotten, what with Four’s letter and the thing about how III is sidestepping the schedule of the OOA in order to do his own thing…..I’m getting the feeling something big is going to happen. Four looks like she’s coming back. But will III step down easy or not?

Ah… I’d bet that everyone in Tension went through this once or twice. One of the first things to realize is that calls and direct contact isn’t a “reward” for being active or anything, sometimes random nobodies get calls when you deserve it more. That’s not Tension saying that you aren’t worth it, they’re working on a plan that is WAY more…[Read more]

Going off my stage for a second and giving the “if I was a game-runner” take: Tension is probably trying to pay attention to the people who came on, got overwhelmed and stopped participating. This is going all the way until the Fall so have patience and enjoy the community.

Patience and trust is all the advice I can give you. Remember, you were invited to an actual event, so you’re on their radar. People getting phone calls haven’t been as active and quite a few are out of state. You’ll drive yourself nuts if you compare your experience to everyone else’s

I can understand what it’s like but don’t fret. The OOA, I believe, is more invested in the long game. Just because you’re not getting calls doesn’t mean you’re losing out on anything. @mike said it best: You went to an actual event so you’re on their radar. Just received a call from the Institute. A pleasant sounding woman with an accent wanted to follow up on an answer I gave on my questionnaire concerning a memory of a past life. I described the memory and she thanked me and urged me to remain active on the FB, et al. The clock keeps winding….

My phone is officially on the highest volume possible now because if I miss the call to my first event I will hit myself in the face. Happy to hear yours went well though love. What kind of accent? Was she Russian? I don’t know why but when I think of a woman with an accent, it’s always French or Russian.. -

I received word that my primary BoS contact, James, has gone missing or worse. My only clue is it may have had something to do with a fellow named Warren who is or was OOA affiliated. Warren met with someone within the last week, although BoS never told me who. If James has been taken or harmed, I didn’t get the impression that Warren is the one who did it, just that he is somehow involved. It’s all so vague.

I don’t feel confident speculating on all that, but it would be a semi-comforting thing if James was with Aleister. Perhaps they could help each other if in peril. BoS never spoke ill of Aleister to me. Actually it has been quite to the contrary.

Was it James Eddison? Going through the list of names, he was called out by Sentinel on Facebook when they hacked the Tension page

I asked him if his surname was Luther (from the newsletter) or Eddison (from the hack reveal). He said no to both. It does make me wonder about Sarah Farber though. She was also revealed during the hack, but we’ve not heard that name again as far as I’m aware. And the other hack name of Ellis… some of us do know more about him.

You know what, then again, I’m not sure James completely discounted Eddison as his name. Sometimes people we meet around here aren’t exactly crystal clear in their explanations. That said, it doesn’t make a lot of sense for my James to be named as an OOA insider during the hack, does it?
