May 10th Magical Meetup

I want to invite some of you to join me at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA on Tuesday May 10th at 7pm to hang out and get to know each other. We can discuss Tension and watch magic.
The club is strictly over 21 and you must have a valid ID. There is also a VERY strict dress code. (Men: suit, tie, dress shoes…no pants that look like jeans. Women: dress, dress shoes or pants suit with jacket and dress shoes/boots…again nothing Jean or pants that look like jeans allowed.) You will be my personal guests, so please be on your best behavior.
I am only able to bring a small number of guests in for free so for now let’s limit it to Tension participants only. There is no self parking only valet…I think it’s $13. There are drinks and bar food available for purchase, but you don’t have to buy anything. I will NOT be making dinner reservations.
Please only RSVP in this thread if you plan to attend. Please let me know ASAP since this is only 4 days away.

@puppetgirl this is so generous. The magic castle is one of my favorite places! I would love to go. Is it okay if we arrive closer to 8pm? I usually don’t get off work until 7pm

@endlesspictures I’ve always wanted to rock the magic castle too! I’ve been holding onto a invitation card that I got from the worker in the magic shop at Disneyland and have literally been keeping it in my wallet since I was about 15… My time will come soon! Haha

Sounds like it was a great night! Sad I couldn’t make it last week. I’ve actually *never* been to The Magic Castle. Kudos to you for organizing, @puppetgirl! Hopefully I can make it to something else in the future!

Would those of you under 21 want to go to the castle on a Friday afternoon for Magicians’ lunch? I have to find out how much the buffet is…I think like $20. There’s only one close up show, but you would be able to see the castle from the inside. It’s not the same as an evening. We will also have another 18 and over night at some point. I know it’s usually end of March, but they may do it twice a year. I can check. Let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

Hmmmm, I’m sure the brunch wouldn’t be cool but I mean, I’m sure it’ll still be cool to meet everyone and still check it out from the inside! Also anything is really fine with me, that fact that you’re doing all this to get us in is actually really awesome

There’s always brunch too, but that’s much more family oriented. I’ve only gone once in my years as a member.
@dietcokekitty if you wanted to go to brunch PM me and I can send you a guest pass and you can just go with your friends/family sometime if you just wanna chance to go see magic and check it out. It’s only on weekend days. (I’m hardly ever available to go, but you wouldn’t need me to go with you to brunch as long as you had a guest pass.)
