Denial-anger-bargaining-depression-acceptance

I like that theory. A few of us thought it might be that they each related to the 5 senses.

That’s so interesting, I pitched that idea a while ago but not on here. Learning my lesson that I need to voice my theories more on the forum! But yes, I like the idea. I equally like the idea that was pitched a while ago about each Gatekeeper is sense themed.

Which physical sense or grief stage would y’all think gatekeeper 4 and gatekeeper 5 represent?

GK4- Sense: Hearing, a lot of her vocab involves words relating to the sense
Grief: Anger, definitely anger.

GK5- Sense: ??? Sight perhaps, 5 brought “light” and reflection/insights
Grief: ??? This is a hard one… the “denial” stage is sometimes called the “isolation” stage, as 5 was the first GK that might work?

Denial might work as we are exhorted to leave behind who we were in order to progress on the _path. To separate from our identity and who we believe ourselves to be as a sacrifice to know and come to the Light would definitely create denial.

@atticus360 about the senses thing here are my thoughts:

-Gatekeeper5: Possibly smell? He was nosy at least.
-~four: hearing because she would often says BE LOUD
-III: taste (easy he ate all the things)
-Two: touch (loosely based on her “I felt ~four’s blood all over my hands” bit yesterday)

That would lead up to 1 as sight which makes sense because part of the goal is to gain New Sight, right?

*Note that obviously Two just came in the picture at the time of writing so it really is too early to say what sense if any Two falls in but this is just my best theory at the moment.

True,

5 may have been sight though, with the mirror event and most of his dialogue about “looking” at oneself.

I just realized something guys:

-GK5: DENIED the right to speak when people spoke out of bounds
-GK4: clearly demonstrated the ANGER so many times

And now…let’s not ignore the fact that many of us are wanting Gatekeeper4 back instead of Gatekeeper3.

@gatekeeper3 is in cahoots with BoS (loose term to use, bargain?)

We as a community bargained during III’s reign.

Now we have Two, (formerly Addison–who seemed depressed) and now has this “meh do what you what” attitude. Can Two be our second to final stage of grief?
