The Story So Far… (Start here)

1. You, yes you, have joined the Oraculous Order of Anoch and you are their new Apostle of the Beginning!

2. What does this mean?? Primarily that your new job is to either: spread their message far and wide, or contribute by solving the many mysteries laid before you, or other methods! Be creative. The worthy get recognized and promoted!

3. Lets talk about Gatekeepers. These folks are GOSPEL and LAW so stay on their good side. As of posting we are currently on III, and counting down quickly. “Counting down to what?” You say. Only to the culmination of Anoch’s rage! Glory Be!

4. There are some, let’s say unfriendly groups that would love to see our lovely organization burn to the ground. Usually they like to call themselves Sentinel or the Brotherhood of Seraph, but anyones suspect! Be sure to call the Omega Council if anyone suspicious crosses your path.

5. “What do I do now??” I can’t tell you that. Your path_ is your own. Talk to other members. Do some research. Add something to a conversation no matter how significant you think it is. We’re all here for you, all you need to do now is jump in towards the light.

Some tips:

-If you haven’t already, add The Tension Experience on your Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Also I recommend adding them on Periscope.

-Adding a profile pic: Go up to the top of the page. Hit the white tab line in the top right corner. (looks like three white lines) On the bar that pops up find your username and hit the arrow to the right if it. Then hit “profile”. Now you’ll be on your profile page. You’ll want to hit “change profile picture” and go from there!

-Phone calls: be prepared for phone calls anytime! Particularly those of a “Private Caller” nature.

-The Tension Experience Reddit is an excellent resource, as is the My Haunt Life podcasts and the several blogs and articles associated with The Tension Experience.

Dear New Initiates:

Welcome to The Tension Experience! Don’t know where to start? Have you done the following:

1.) Filled out your questionnaire? While the questionnaire is lengthy it is vital in your next step. You can save and return to the questionnaire if you run short on time.
2.) Explored the forum? Don’t be too intimidated by the wealth of stuff that has been posted, read what you can and if you’re really lost we highly recommend @mike and @reaton My Haunt Life “Where to Begin” thread and also going to the reddit page but be warned there are spoilers so don’t go to Reddit until you think you’re ready.
3.) There are puzzles that are scattered throughout the Facebook Page and Website including the Forum! If you feel like the puzzles don’t really lead to any conclusion, hang in there, you’re not alone. Remember this experience goes all the way to the Fall so HAVE PATIENCE.
4.) Get active! Think of creative ways to spread the word of the OOA.
5.) Most of all, get to know your community. While everyone will have their own Path and thus have a different experience compared to others, we are here to support each other in our personal growth here.

Main points for a frustrated Tension player:
1. Trust me, we know how you feel. But the best way to deal with it is to channel your frustrations in a positive, not negative manner. Honey over vinegar so they say…
2. Give only what you want to give. Expect nothing back. Any acknowledgement, phone calls, titles, and invites are merely a bonus to what you already get to experience on here.
3. Enjoy the community! There’s so much to discover through other players.
4. Take breaks. This is a long-term game, go live your life! Tension will be waiting for you, promise.
5. Have fun! How many times will you be in a cult in your life?
