@coryphella About my response… I challenged them during the event (in a horribly worded and very awkward statement, since I was so nervous… but I followed up in an email in which they seemed to receive my point well…). I said that I was very uncomfortable with them asking for an act of faith and trust (access to my phone) and then they seemed to tell me I was a fool for giving them EXACTLY what they requested… it felt like a betrayal on their part. They responded (by email exchange) that they felt my honesty was “refreshing” but they also warned me that things may get “darker” from that point forward, seeming to point to my love of (and fear of) the dark and haunt “stuff”… it seems they are ready to make good upon that ominous exchange.
