@astro4545, interesting you use the word “brainwashed.” In those exposed emails, there was mention of an attempt to “reprogram,” correct? She does seem in very different spirits than in other recent communications, but I feel the message is consistent. So… I see why you would get the vibe from this video, but what she is saying seems to line up with the recent Periscopes.

@kasch I don’t know… there is a positive message here, as far as I can see.

She speaks of the words of the past… and how they are unimportant.
She speaks of “missteps” but stresses how they should not over shadow the glory that we are seemingly hours away from…
She points to recent media attention as an attempt to draw our focus away from what is truly our _path… and she states that what approaches will be “everything,” listing each faction of this somewhat fractured community NOT to criticize but to emphasize how we are ALL important.
She states, “We love and need every single one of you.” Once again, I choose to believe her words are an attempt to lead us all forward… together.
Personally, even if this message offers little detail (which, obviously, is for our own protection) I do not see this as foretelling something bad.
For Gatekeeper2, I believe we should do our best to “stay strong” as more is revealed to us… soon.

This did not occur to me for a few days… obviously, since I am posting it now!

The envelope containing the emails was signed by “A friend.” I looked at that and really did not give it much thought… then it hit me that I received something handwritten months ago… the note that was given to me with the teddy bear after I met Tom and Margaret, it was signed BOS.

I cannot guarantee the note was written by Tom, even though he called me to tell me where the bear was to be found.

If you compare some of the letters (T, E, H, R) which are the most noticeable curves and straight lines… I do not think these are the same handwritings, but they do feel similar, don’t they? Anyone have any thoughts? Barking up a pointless tree?

I wonder who this “friend” really is?

It’s hard to pinpoint one thing. @111error and I have been tied to Addison closely and the interactions with her have been an emotional highlight. The endless discussions I have had with @mike trying to figure out what is going on how far this all might lead have certainly been fun. (In private, this conversation has turned quite disturbing at times, I must admit. Haha!) The odd mini-haunt intro I got to the “Red Hood” event was an unexpected thrill and hints that there still may be some dark and scary moments ahead for me, which is exciting!

Perhaps one of the most effective things was the morning I woke up to Facebook posts claiming I may need to be taught a lesson and questioning my high level of tolerance for pain… to be followed by a meeting being compromised, me meeting Tom, which led to me suddenly being invited to the Sunday mixer I had been excluded from until then… it was 48 hours of roller-coaster emotions and plot switches that took me by surprise every few hours. And included me wearing the infamous “helmet” for a short period of time!!!

But, even now, I look ahead toward Ascension with the hopes that the live event will top all of it!!!

@amieexists you offer an interesting point. We may all be buying into the tradition Light = Good and Dark = Evil social norms without enough questioning of its actual structure in relation to the OOA

@mkarrett Good point, so many deities have a dark side, this is true!

P.S. Melissa, step away from the fake newspaper articles… it will be okay. I only heard the stories and I am melting down. And I am only LToK adjacent! I did not participate. (O_o)

There is no way to be sure, @aleocotillo. I have faith in her intentions… not so much the intentions of those who once surrounded her.
The helmet? Is there any chance it could be a tool that could aid her at this moment? It’s true purpose has always been a mystery, but I share your concern.

Judging from the light above her, I don’t think it’s a hat or coat rack, I think it is a tall floor lamp. But, your are right, with the drapery-type material around her, it feels sort of like a dressing room or something… maybe? We don’t have much to go on! Haha!

@mike Yes, I believe there was a similar tone, I think, in the phone call you are referring to… that was also a time when she wanted to convey the message that “Everything was okay” and she was in a better place than she had been leading up to that call.

And, yes, I was supposed to tell you at one point she had message for you… but that’s all I was given… just that there was a message.

I agree, I think it probably coincidence, but an interesting avenue to walk down.

My main reason in pointing to it was to see if anyone had theories on the “Friend.”

Interesting stuff, @melarune. Thank you for jumping in with the comparison to the journal! There has been the theory proposed elsewhere in these Forums that Addison may have had some sort of personality “split” at some point. Personally, I am not a believer in this, buuuuuuuuuuutttt… with what you just said, is it possible this is evidence to support that theory?

Yes, @mike, I agree with you! When I first looked at the note after the hotel, I thought that “Russell” and “BOS” did seem different. At the time I think I even mentioned to you that I wondered if BoS had Tom write the note but then put their own “stamp of approval” on it by later identifying who should receive the bear.

The other letter I mentioned… T … if you look at the cross of it, the bear note seems to be straight across and the other note seems to be consistently slanted.

@darthzannah I do recall someone, at the time, wondered if Tom may have been involved if Mark was seriously hurt or killed… we have seen that Tom has no problem with expressing his anger through aggressive outbursts. Mark faking his death is an interesting idea, obviously. I just don’t know… but it is interesting to think Mark may have reached out to Tom for the best interest of Addison.
