…with Samson and the ODSM shutting down/resetting Overseer, their statement “see? She really believes this stuff”, and the apparently scripted interview, I don’t think anyone can provide rational justification for the existence of the OOA as we know it. However, for the participants, the OOA has made a difference in their lives, so even if it turns out Ascension or the recent events before it are all the work of the ODSM, with truth relativism we can say the OOA existed for those who thought it did.
