The intro to the newsletter made me question if I had dyslexia. read through the whole letter thinking “Mike is going to be Mosquito-ed, I wonder what that entails.” Only to read his response of “Mis-quoted”. GAH!

It is a little on the nose that we got the email this morning now that you mention. Being that I posted this late last night, the very last thing on the forum for quite a few hours until morning. Specifically since I mentioned your address thing I think above… As if they were reminding us (me?) of the address since I pointed directly at the phone number? HA but really more likely, it was probably predetermined and scheduled to go out ahead of time.

But hey COINCIDENCES AND SYNCHRONICITIES!

I can agree with that =) It’s more of a curiosity for me, I’m not hoping to like find out the whole team or creative force behind everything. But if it turned out a friend of mine was someone on the lower levels that doesn’t know everything either… I’d be stoked. If not then I hope its directed away just like you so beautifully clarified @endlesspictures.

@kasch I have no problem with being told it’s out of bounds, but with it all just adding up I couldn’t sit by anymore wondering one way or the other. I’d love to have an answering machine say the number is out of service, or a person just to straight up say Derek… delete the post it was an accident. But I’m loving @addisonborn‘s theory of it being a front to make it seem like a “game” but a real organization is behind it pulling the strings. The Meta is not lost on me.

In the same vein as what you’ve said though of periscope locations, I think that is what happened with the address @monkeymuffin333 and @prufrock5150 investigated if I recall the story correctly.

So what you’re saying @addisonborn / @amieexists is that we’re supposed to know that some of these people are actors or just people that work in the industry in general? To egitimize some of their work as being false to lure more people into the fold? And therefore we really were supposed to find this Sony connection even if no one ever answers the phone just to further this smokescreen?

And/or that from the beginning I should have been on this connection since the very first email????

Aw @coryphella are you sure? You don’t have to be in it! You just have to work with me in some capacity in order for it to count. Video and new media are starting to be the future of film it seems… I mean you and I already chatted previously of having ARg backgrounds…so I don’t think I need to say much further.

Nardwuar…look him up. He is a very very detailed interviewer in Canada. He interviews Musicians and truly is a monster at it. He actually listens to what they say rather than having talking points and sticking to them, But furhtermore he researches the people he interviews on an inhuman level. He usually offers them gifts of free records and apparel based on their music interests… things that no normal person…even the artists best friends sometimes even know that person likes… Here let me find you an example.

That one right there sort of started it all… He was up to this business before that but after impressing Pharrell that opened a door to all of his contacts to interview and caused some huge names in music and entertainment to actually say yes to his requests.

I don’t want to say it’s definite it can totally be a mistake or out of game @mumumusings. What I am willing to say is that after googling the number I found that it may belong to a location in a studio lot. But it isn’t exactly hard to rent a space on certain studio lots. In addition to this I received an email from someone hinting that they may have known me and possibly have worked with me on a film previously. That one person (out of who knows how many in the OOA) would certainly be in the film industry.
