My husband and I had that same discussion about the younger generation may not have handed their phones over.
(Wow I sound old now)

I really thought the stitches in the mouth must spell something when you turn it upside down. Something that ends in “DE” but I couldn’t make out the rest of it.

I don’t know the purpose of using an outside site unless you are just hoping to chat without the OOA seeing. (They’ll find a way.) You can comment in the forums in “real time” about the same as slack. And Google I personally find impossible. I am not familiar with discord.

If you haven’t tried a live Escape Game yet I can’t recommend them highly enough. There are some great ones in the Los Angeles area: The Basement, Crossroads, Wizards & Wires, Lunar Station, Enigma, The Virus to name a few. In San Diego a few good ones I’ve played are Steal & Escape, Houdini, Escape Game SD Japanese thriller room, and divergent realities.

Yes I recently rewatched The Institute the other day because of The Tension Experience.

I had to have the guy repeat a lot. I couldn’t understand him. I started to wonder if it’s my hearing. He sounded all muffled and echoey to me even without the hood on. Maybe it was the room acoustics.

I definitely smelled candles or something in the hall before the mirror.

It funny because now that you mention it I also heard a faint noise that at the time I thought sounded like a ritual, but then I blew it off thinking it must have been a kitchen or dining area or something elsewhere that I was hearing from outside or another part of the building and was just over thinking it because I was hooded and listening so hard.

I’m not saying it’s impossible, but I think it’s highly unlikely that the OOA would install Malware onto anyone’s phone. It’s not like they would need to do that to see much of that personal information anyway. As pointed out by the OOA we freely give up our privacy online. Many common apps allow your “friends” to see your (phones) location. We also post photos, videos, status updates and check-in in real time on apps like Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, etc. At least for me, no one needs Malware to know where I am most of the time or what I’m up to. Maybe that’s not the case for most people.
