What a fascinating day.

I went to the mixer as well. Everything Sean described seems familiar, except I seemed to not really have a one on one experience like most of the people I attended the event with– nothing really happened to me in particular. I feel like I was a fly on the wall throughout most of the day. Even familiar faces from the OOA looked at me like it was their first time seeing me, when in actuality, I’ve seen them at least 2 times previously.

All in all, I appreciate the community, and was enthralled to spend time with quality people that ventured out of their way to make this event. To hear about everyone’s experience was very interesting. It was like an IRL forum experience. I felt like I was trying to maneuver through the darkness towards the light, vicariously, through others. It was also very eye opening to hear about what my fellow OOA brothers and sisters really felt about the institution behind the Oracles’ backs. I hope all my brothers and sisters will follow the lightness that Anoch provides, and not stray. I am afraid for some of them! But then again. I was only 20 minutes away from the event. What a fun day!

@nking I was listening to those tapes as well. Maybe Hop on Pop was one of her favorite childhood books? The ocean reminded me of the beach… That reminded me of a budding actress fantasizing about Hollywood/LA. Not sure about the Spanish one. Also, was it only 3 tapes? I thought there were 4. And also, does anyone know who took the documents that were on the chair, that was on the stage?
