Being confronted with “lust” for some reason makes me so much more reticent and nervous than being confronted with “tension”. I’ve said it elsewhere in these forums but one of the craziest things for me in Ascension was a brief encounter that involved lust which pushed me VERY much out of my comfort zone. If “Lust” will be a continuation down that path, I can only imagine what type of blushing embarrassment is in store for me at that event (if it even is an event)

I’m excited and nervous for what they’re offering regarding “lust”. One thing I don’t readily talk about with others when I talk about my experience with Ascension is that it is, thus far in my life, the ONLY event I’ve been to of its kind that genuinely pushed my out of my comfort zone in terms of lust by genuinely…well, creating it in me. Many events have a “sexual” element, but I’ve never actually been…confronted…in that way, I guess, for lack of a better word, like I was in Ascension. It sounds like I’m being tacky or prurient, but I was genuinely scared of the embarrassment that would occur if the lust confrontation continued the way it was going. Luckily, my actress knew exactly when to stop it seemed. If the Lust Experience is going to continue in that direction, I will be far out of my comfort zone before I even step foot in the door.

@lmsmedley Oh I didn’t mean to make it sound big, it’s really nothing special (I’m certain it happens to everyone), it was just extremely effective for me. I’m talking about when the woman in the sense sacrifice room got on her knees next to me and started saying the words to the scripture along with the main more talkative gentleman, and in doing so was pushing herself against me, smiling at me, running her hands across my face, whispering in my ear, and (most effectively) breathing on my neck. I’ve been to things like Creep where certain characters get “flirty” with you to make you uncomfortable, but what she pulled was genuinely extremely seductive and, therefore, extremely embarrassing and discomforting to me, being in a public space and all. Really effective stuff.

I was there last night too (10pm processing) and it was nuts for me to see this; people I’ve had full conversations with, the woman who gave me my jumpsuit, ALL gone. Who is behind this?
