Or perhaps we’re looking into this more than we have to. Maybe Thomas is her step father? that would make sense to everything everyone said. What she told Russell makes sense if you take it literally, because he is not her “real” father. Also, calling out “Daddy” makes sense, because, well, he is “a” father to her, but not “her” father
