Interesting. @thebuz, the way I see it, if Addison called you, she must have faith that your past beliefs still have a chance of influencing your present actions. If I were you, I would take that as a compliment.

I can’t imagine what is in that package, but I hope you put it to good use for the community’s sake.

And, if a meeting with III does take place, may I recommend bringing knives? 😉

My first question would be one already being asked… who was filming? Who was that other witness?

At 6:25 on 7/24 my phone rang – no caller ID visible.

This is the best I can remember the exchange.

I answered the phone and a female voice said “Russell?”

At first, I must admit I did not immediately recognize the voice. I cannot specify why… it just didn’t sound familiar this time…

“Russell?”
After she spoke my name the second time… I knew.

“Is this Addison?” I asked.

She immediately responded, “Don’t say my name.”

“Okay”

“Russell, please don’t judge me for the things I have to do now. Russell, I want you to know I have seen your documentary. I feel I know you better now. Please understand that I have to go away for a little while. I have to go away. But I will be in touch with you again… very soon.

I stammered a second and tried to get the question out to ask how long she had to be away… but, she hung up.

She seemed a bit stressed, perhaps, but was overall calm and in control.

(For those who do not know, I am featured in the documentary film, “The Blackout Experiments” that opened theatrically and on VOD this weekend.)

First off, I never read 4 handing the knife to Addison as an indication for her to do something violent toward III. The instruction was to make sure he was not about to pull some shenanigans, it seems. 4 clearly offered the knife to Addison for her own protection. @ununpentium, that is how I saw the beginning of the encounter unfold.

@mike You want to know how I feel? There is a girl distraught who claims she finds me somehow trustworthy. I believe she has been waiting for a moment of opportunity. This was that moment. I believe the reason she called me a few days ago was to find out if she had ANYONE who was going to be there for her when this went down… I said yes in that moment. There is no way I can endorse her chosen course of action here, but I can offer acceptance and understanding that it was the only choice she saw. I cannot speak for 111error, for his path is his own. Now, am I to abandon her? I reached out to her… she has yet to respond and I doubt that she will. She has stuff she has to deal with right now, I bet.

@chicar I believe the yelled question of “Who are you?” is key. 4 clearly has been wanting Addison to come into her own. This was a solid shove of her psyche. She asked for it… Addison gave it to her.

@endlesspictures I agree with you… this has now turned deadly… and now there IS evidence. (Unless you wanna do the conspiracy theory that 4 did not die. @mkarrett and @blondicamps if that is where your beliefs lie… I just cannot agree it is possible, but I admire your sense of hope!)

@electrichippo… I hope she is okay… what else did she witness… what else did she hear or see? How did she get to the location? Why have we heard nothing? I have to have faith she is okay because she was there to be a witness… even if the event that happened was NOT what she was supposed to bear witness to originally. So, let her come forth, if she can, and offer a perspective no one else can. Her silence is uncomfortable at best… grim foreboding at worst.

I now have a clearer picture where I stand. I cannot help but think that when she called me to ask if I would stand with her, Addison already had this plan in motion.

Interesting point @mike. Maybe yesterday was the culmination of both things you mention… the personal stuff drove her to a breaking point, but she knows her place is as II. She had to declare herself when she chose to act as she did, maybe before she was ready?

For her to reach out to @111error and me now, telling him that she will lead him through the darkness and telling me that she has to go away for a bit. This sounds like someone preparing for the war that has been promised.

I can only guess that she will return with a statement for the whole community soon.
She has placed herself in this position…now, she must lead…

Haha! @mike Man, you know I was a bit emotional Friday night at the screening and Q and A, anyway!

Well, now Addison knows that fear is something that has helped me grow and explore myself in the past… and she has seen me deal with some very intense, frightening things… I am not sure where this might lead………
