I agree…. caution is necessary. Trust is a risky, risky affair these days, it seems.
Also, by her stressing “ALL” the way she does, it supports my personal belief that her agenda has always been for a greater good for the entire community.
She is interested in every member of this community, no matter where they choose to stand.

@Gatekeper2 When you asked me to interpret the lessons you offered, first and foremost I stressed what was obvious to me… you were offering us insight into the journey all of us were on… that we share. The words of the past reflect the dangers of the present.
I know you have sacrificed much already. If The One is “not who they were expecting.” does this mean we must protect The One? Keep The One hidden?
You have led us… although some do not see all you have done. Please know you do have those who are willing to help, willing to meet.

Interesting. I actually doubt this, but very interesting connection to make.
When Jenna approached me, she really stuck to the story that her upset with the OOA was based on the Red Room encounter where she learned the older women in that room seemed to have very personal and private information about her. (Including surveillence style photos of her, apparently.) She seemed to stress that this was a relatively new encounter for her and she “wanted out” before things got any weirder. Her meeting with me was to ask if I had similar experiences of being followed or called… which I had not. It’s a little hard to connect the story she told as part of a larger cover-up theory where she was actually part of the whole mechanism. How would that correlate with Jenna’s encounters with @kasch and me? I am not sure who else met her, but I know others did.

But, in favor of your connection, @mkarrett, Jenna’s story about how she found me and her claiming to “know” something that was said about me at that initial consultation never seemed genuine and she produced no such information… like she was hiding something from me, perhaps.

If Sadie is Jenna then that adds a very complex layer to all of this. Hmmmm…… Would like to know what Andrew thinks of this… especially since at one point Addison asked him to help her connect to Jenna.

Interesting call back, @kasch. That comment was made about that group of us… but we have all been active participants and engaged in some of the live events, right? I wonder if The One was present… but not at our table… remember we were suspicious of other patrons that day?

Thank you @thegilded, I, for one, appreciate your comments.
The fact that the journal was made available to someone and that clean copies of those pages did eventually get posted benefitted this entire community. I don’t care which “side” you are on. The clarification of the pages was NEEDED. It happened.

There ARE bigger things developing, clearly.

@dimstyle With the recent interruption of a Periscope video, causing her to flee… I am afraid she may be on her own for now, but this post ends with “I request that we ALL meet soon so that we may finally let Glory Be.” I can only see that as a sign there will be more information coming soon.

I would also like some clarification, @halfbloodfangirl, if this journal was taken from him to help with clarification and then never returned.

@addisonborn I have wondered about that change in tone from the pages to the real person we saw at that mixer, as well. I am not sure if there is “evidence” here that the journal was tampered with, I am more in line with @amieexists in thinking that the anticipation on her part… in that moment… was genuine.

You are right about that mixer, she did seem nervous or afraid and we were definitely kept away from her, for the most part. I was absolutely steered away from her when I tried to talk, to her. For me, the diary reflects her belief at the time, though… but things certainly shifted and her words became more confused and unclear. We may have witnessed, at that mixer, the beginning of the end of Addison and the beginning of Gatekeeper2.

@rizzzoooooo points to the scratched out “ancient language,” which is mysterious but the rest of the comments in that area offer a positive picture to Addison, right? Maybe Mark and Addison are both innocents who found themselves being led astray somehow. (Personally, I think the diary must be taken sincerely, for that is the way most personal journals are approached.)

Something I would like to point out about Mark. When I met Tom and Margaret at the hotel, Tom seemed angry with Mark and blamed him for much of the issues he believed Addison to be having. If I recall correctly, Tom believed Mark was present at many OOA meetings with Addison, including meetings were they were working on some form of possibly telepathic communication – involving the Hood of Clarity. (Tom did not use that phrase for it, though.)

Reading the diary, I get the sense that Mark disappears for a while. I am having trouble correlating what Tom said with the entries in the diary. After Addison moves into the room the OOA a provides, there is very little mention of Mark for a while. I wonder if this supports the idea that Mark did develop a real affection for Addison as @lenize and others have suggested.

That theory, in my opinion, supports what we know happened later. Including Gatekeeper 4’s intense reaction toward him when he reappeared. What if we interpret the little we know of Mark’s actions as the behavior of a man filled with grief over what he has done to a girl he truly cared for? He would’ve had some knowledge of One and perhaps he knew that a very dark end was coming for someone he now had genuine affection for but could not extricate her from a situation he placed her in. That’s quite a heavy burden to bear, if it’s true.

@halfbloodfangirl and @electrichippo I have also been relatively quiet, not offering many comments on the diary pages. Not for lack of concern or interest but due to personal point of view. I read passages and I sense that there are areas where I received a brief phone call from the Addison of that moment… the girl who’s head hurt, or the girl who knew everything was improving and going to be okay. And was listening to upbeat danceable music.

Michelle, the diary can be persuasive no matter what you think may be “right.” I feel we cannot determine what we are seeing in these words… Believe what you feel. Girl manipulated and victimized? I understand why some see that and it is a compelling narrative. However, look at what we see unfolding today. A girl hunted because she apparently threatens… something or someone? To me that indicates she is a source of power.

Kim, interesting you were told early on about the Hood of Clarity. We have had indication it transforms an individual, yes… but, because of information they are being fed as they wear it or does it enhance abilities the wearer already has? I don’t think the diary can answer that even as it reflects an obviously confused person affected by wearing it.

This diary is not an answer, in my opinion, it is a clue.
