We know that Gatekeepers go before Omega when they are relieved of their position, but as we don’t know exactly what Omega’s function is, we can’t really speak to what that means.

I suppose it wouldn’t be too insane to say that Omega may also be involved in the creation/promotion of a Gatekeeper, as well. As said though, all just stabs in the dark

I suppose a problem that I’ve had since this started is that so much of this I’m willing to discount so many of these points as just stylistic or mood-setting choices.

However, the repeated use of Scope and Mirror is definitely something that I’m still curious about. The connections to Periscope seem fair, but L2D’s repeated use of phrases like “Your path will be noted in scope and mirror” seem to point to something that is beyond just the app. Further, L2D’s usage of it predated Tension’s use of the app by a considerable amount of time.

I suppose another question that I’ll add to the pile is: “What was L2D’s purpose, and why did we see a significant drop off of his activity?”

It’s up. Here’s hoping we get something good

Also, don’t post there until after the OOA does. Lets keep their response high up in the thread

Ideally, we should have our questions locked down by 4pm, to allow for a margin of error.

There is some conversation still happening, but it seems that the questions @mike has put up are the ones that we, as a whole, are mostly leaning towards.

Given the recent discussion, does anyone want to alter or replace any of the 3 we currently have?

Lat/longitute points to the Luxor International Hospital in Egypt. I’m going to hang out on the sidelines on the rest of the puzzles for a little bit, I’d rather focus on the previous Periscope and our looming deadline for the question topic for now

You’ve all touched on what I want to touch on… Tension is something unlike what most of us have ever seen before. I know through speaking with many of you that this has extraordinarily exciting since moment one.

It’s made us tense, and many of us reacted publicly not because we hate Tension, but because we love it so damn much.

    And I do. We do.

I mean… for now, at least

  • #9861

That’d certainly be a new development, we’ve yet to hear confirmation of any Gatekeeper remaining active after they change roles.

All of you keep us informed, yeah!?

  • #9845

Your first point is definitely a good one, but I suppose that brings up another unanswered question: What happens to the Gatekeepers when they step down? Is she _still_ an actress or is she now… something else?

Focusing on the idea that it is to show something to someone who would otherwise be unable to see is an interesting idea… maybe it refers not to us looking inwards on ourselves, but to The Powers That Be, that may not be able to interact with us directly but rather have to use proxies like L2D and the Gatekeepers.

Thus, “Noted in scope and mirror” would be a unique way of basically saying that “You’ve done well, and I’ve informed Them of this”

Do we know that, though? 242/8 may be related to organizational structure, but a complete picture of organizational structure is more like “Gatekeepers report to Oracles, L2D reports to Gatekeepers, Overseer reports to the Oracles”, etc.

I’d be okay with the Anoch question, but I think that we’re missing bigger pieces of this puzzle that matter more than what happened to Addison.

That said, if people want to revise the list, you’ll have until 4:30pm to do so, as I’ll be posting the questions at 4:30. If there is a significant enough movement to change the questions, I’m certainly willing to do so, but if you want to you gotta join Andrew in speaking up now

  • #9770

That’s fair, there is overlap. Do you want to suggest a substitute question, or reword one to include “non-numerical clue” to make it exclusionary?

  • #9767

Yeah, per the submission guidelines we’ll need to create a new topic that only contains our 3 questions, their response, and likely any conversation we have based on their response

  • #9760

That’s fair. For anyone continuing, this was an activity comment that doesn’t readily match any ciphers that I know

I do like the idea of leading the question, but I’m personally in favor of leaving it open ended. While focusing the question can likely lead to a specific answer, like the Periscope thing, by leaving it open we give them a chance to point us towards whatever they think the biggest thing we’ve missed is
