Hey, guys! I’m new, I found this in the middle of the whole “Tension 2.0” letter thing and I decided to wait to join until that was over. I signed up, and I went to fill out the questionnaire but all that page says is “The questionnaire has fulfilled it’s purpose. No further submissions are allowed at this time.”

What do I do now? Just wait?

Welcome @corsolis! As far as the questionnaire is concerned, that was for something that no longer applies, so don’t worry about that. If you want to get involved in the immediate, you’re going to want to do what can in getting caught up (the story so far is rather dense, we can help if you ask) and get active on the forums. During Indoctrination, our current phase, The Powers That Be notice and interact with the active.

Ascension comes next. That’s the ticketed event on the front page. That’s a whole ‘nother matter that requires you only to buy a ticket.

I can’t afford the tickets and I don’t live anywhere near LA so that’s a no-go for me
I was really interested in this because the stories of people getting creepy phone calls and social media messages were really intriguing, is that kind of experience over?

I’ve read the Timeline and I really do want to become more involved with the community and story, I just sadly can’t go to live events and it would be great if I could participate in more remote things.

No problem, while Indoctrination is it’s later stages, it’s certainly not over yet and there is still plenty to do. Stick around a bit, be active, and who knows… maybe something’ll come your way.

I do ABSOLUTELY recommend asking questions, though. Tension is dense and it’s really hard to completely figure out on your own if you’re trying to catch up. Come onto the forums, make a topic on New Aspirants and we’ll jump to help if you’re ever confused

@corsolis welcome to the forums and don’t be so concerned about not being in LA. I think you will find there are a few of us that are not around the area. I am in Florida, @blondiecamps is in the UK, a few people spread across the midwest and I believe I had seen mention of @lenize in New York or South Africa (I know, big difference). Sorry everyone else I may have fogotten. I know we have a Texas and Kansas City somewhere on here also.

The best thing you can do, as mentioned by @thegilded and @atticus360 is stay involved with the forums, solve the puzzles, watch the old periscope videos and ask questions.

So right now we are preparing for the big Ascension event in September, if you are interested in being a part of that you will need to buy a ticket.

Other than that I highly recommend reading the official timeline, and unofficial Chronicles if you wish to immerse yourself in the story further. It is not necessary for Ascension but will definitely add to the experience.

At this time, neither OOA Aspirants nor BOS Rebels have any sort of uniform that we’ve been informed of. Members of the OOA seem to have some dress code, but that doesn’t seem to apply to anyone entering into Ascension just yet.

I just signed up, and so far I’m very intrigued. I haven’t gotten any phone calls, but I did call a number that took me to a page with a newspaper article that included a…very interesting way to ‘meditate’.

I’m really into the inner-questionings of self, among other things, and am hoping that even though I live in AZ, I’ll get to be a part of this glorious community as time goes on.

Yes, there was a physical copy in my hands for a portion. I didn’t have a real chance or enough time to actually go through it, but I held an actual file with my information in my hands

I can confirm that.. I took a quick look through and they had a good deal of personal info. There was also a very specific incident in my personal life, an interaction between me and my SO, that to my knowledge there is no way for them to have known, that was very directly referenced. They definitely have ways of finding things out.

I’m quite new to this. Just signed up, in fact, and am very intrigued by what I’m seeing so far. I’ll unfortunately be unable to buy a ticket and travel to participate in “Ascension” but I’m definitely going to try my hand at everything on this website. I’ve kept things somewhat limited on here, so it’ll be interesting to see just how much information they’re able to get on me. And I do mean quite interesting, especially involving things I’ve never told anybody.
