The About page that links to the privacy policy does bug the giblets outta me though. I feel like it must come into play later.

Omega is a very well-known watch brand. I wouldn’t put too much stock in it.

Like I would give up the opportunity to demonstrate how my witty online banter completely evaporates into awkwardness in person to you. I’m pretty much free all day Saturday until after my appointment.

I got my call last night at approximately 11:15 pm. My agony ended when I heard a peculiar male voice say my name and ask me if they had woken me up. In truth, I was lying wide awake with my stomach in knots very much suffering from the TENSION. But Glory Be, I shall be there Saturday as well at 5:30pm.

Also, don’t forget the meet up on Sunday at Venice Beach starting at 11 am in front of the Freak Show venue. I can’t wait to meet my Brothers and Sisters face to face! ^___^

Speaking of which, there is a meet-up planned for May 1st at Venice Beach. We’re hoping to start at 11 am in front of the Freak Show. There will be pamphlets and flyers and we will be spreading the Light. Also, our own @dsapir will be filming a student project on the perspective of being an Aspirant, so if you plan on attending, reflect on your experience and be prepared to testify. Hope to see a bunch of Brothers and Sisters there!

Note: if you’re interested in viewing the freak slow, admission is very reasonable, just bring a lot of small bills too. You might get to staple them onto someone.

    Howdy, Party People!

I volunteered to catalogue the survey data and here’s what we have so far:

To date we had 14 subjects. Of them, we have 7 denizens of the immediate Los Angeles area, 2 within convenient driving distance of LA, 2 in the less than convenient range of driving distance and 3 from out of state.

5 subjects heard of Tension from person to person communication (family, friend, acquaintance), 8 from online/social media and 1 from direct OOA invite.

4 joined the community in February, 7 in March and 3 in April.

Of the various favorite aspects of this experience friends/community was mentioned most frequently (8), mystery (6), challenge/puzzles & narrative tied (4), interactions & ultimate outcome/event tied (3), ARG elements & complexity/involvement (while being free thus far) tied (2) & finally one mention of the paranoia and insecurity this inspired.

For horror media consumption we have 2 creators, 3 creator/extensive consumers, 3 extensive consumers, 2 moderate consumers, 2 light consumers and 2 who abstain.

Of those who utilize horror publications/media 4 would be greatly interested in an experience such as this from an ad on their favorite horror news vehicle. 3 would be somewhat influenced (with an additional 2 depending on the ad). 3 would not be influenced whatsoever.

And finally, 3 of us would succumb to an endorsement of Tension from a trusted publication. 4 would check it out after a convo with a stranger. 1 would seek out Tension from a comprehensive post on Reddit or some such. 1 would take action from A or E, 1 for A or D, 2 for B & D, 1 for E (but all options were found to be interesting) and 1 answered all of the above.

So that’s the data as it stands. How would you spread the Word?

It’s clear that all of us are heading towards a conflict involving the BoS, so the question of where our loyalties lie may seem like a priority we need to nail down post haste. But a witch hunt right now is only distracting us. There is no way for us to determine amongst ourselves who is who for what purpose. As in the rest of life we must continue until the ones who will hurt us show their hand. And yeah, that sucks, but we’re strong and when provided with irrevocable proof only then can we take action. When that moment comes, trust, I and others will be merciless.

Bat’s Day in the Fun Park! Plus the Black Market on Saturday. Good times! It’s been a few years since I went. Maybe in the future we can do our own invasion: OOA in the House of Mouse. ^__^

That did not sound like the roller disco/tent revival I was contemplating. 😳

I’m guessing consultations for the second generation of participants and a roller skating party for first wave aspirants who’ve already had consultations.

I’ll be at ScareLA on the Saturday. I think it would be an EXCELLENT opportunity to spread the Word.

PS I would love a button, please. I will pay you American monies for such a thing.

On the Tension FB page in the visitor posts. Comments have been deleted, but there was a nice photoshop in there. I’m also messaging Sentinel nonsense pictures. I might escalate to memes soon though.
