I am Russell. I live in Los Angeles and work as an editor… mainly working on children’s movies and programs. My favorite genre is horror, though. During the last few Halloween seasons, I have helped create “haunts” for local charities.
I like scaring people and being scared by them.

As @mike mentioned, I am part of the My Haunt Life site and podcast team.
And, Mike is completely wrong. Kit Kats are better than Snickers.

@coryphella About my response… I challenged them during the event (in a horribly worded and very awkward statement, since I was so nervous… but I followed up in an email in which they seemed to receive my point well…). I said that I was very uncomfortable with them asking for an act of faith and trust (access to my phone) and then they seemed to tell me I was a fool for giving them EXACTLY what they requested… it felt like a betrayal on their part. They responded (by email exchange) that they felt my honesty was “refreshing” but they also warned me that things may get “darker” from that point forward, seeming to point to my love of (and fear of) the dark and haunt “stuff”… it seems they are ready to make good upon that ominous exchange.

See, @mike… there are areas in which you are naive. If you do an internet search for “coffee and kit kats” various things come up, including the fact that there was a limited edition release of coffee-flavored kit kats!
@blondiecamps, I personally do not drink coffee so I have not experimented with the joys of combining the two things… but I get it. 😉

BTW, apparently the most efficient dunk of a Kit Kat is one that lasts exactly 4 seconds.

@kasch I understand your passionate plea for opening the package, but I must agree it is @daela who must make that call. We can theorize all we want, but we know not where this will lead. If the package had been opened… then what? And there was a follow up message strongly suggesting that was not the path they expected @daela to choose… I REALLY want to know more about the contents of that package, but in the end I feel the day played out the way “they” wanted it to play out.
