The OOA is the Organization that hosts this website, created the questionnaire, controls who Ascends and who doesn’t, they’re in control of near everything behind “The Tension Experience”.

Right now we aren’t sure. We suspect that it’s for something happening in the Fall, and more information is expected to be released July 1st, but all that we know for sure is that only those Accepted by the OOA will be invited to get them.

Well first of all, welcome. If you want a general overview type of explanation, I wrote this up a little while back that at least should set the mood for what it is you’re getting into.

As for more details, that becomes a more complicated question. What, specifically, are you lost on? Some of the more puzzle-based questions might be solved through Mike’s excellent write-up found here but depending on where you’re lost, some of that may not make sense

No problem, hopefully we all learn something out of this.

Some basic information/hints: Puzzles 1, 2, 3, and 6 (by the way, thanks @mkarrett) are known as Cipher Puzzles. They start with an encrypted (jumbled up in a very specific way) string of characters, and it is up to the puzzle solver to do two things:

First, it’s a matter of finding which cipher is used. Puzzles 1, 2 and 3 all start with something from computer science, and can be solved by finding which concept is being shown, and translating it back from there.

Puzzles 4 and 5 are Photo Manipulation puzzles. They both require you to download the image and play with it. 5 is the hardest one I’ve posted so far, and will require you to download other programs to help you along with it. One hint that I’ll give there is that I regret naming the puzzle “Description” instead of “Meta”.

Final hint for now is that many puzzles involve red herrings, or information that seems important but actually isn’t. I included a red herring in puzzle 6, don’t get too caught up on it.

I disagree with many of you. We’ve fostered a community whose primary purpose is to help each other see the light, whose purpose is to prove to the Oracles who is worthy of the Light. In light of that fact, I have tried my best to help any who need it and will try to ensure that as many of us will reach the end of our paths as possible.

But make no mistake, I believe not only that there are still those among us that will try to turn us from the Light, I believe that there are many of us who will cause us to stray not because of ill intent but because you simply are not worthy of Ascension.

I like many of you, and I hope that many of you will stand beside me at the end of this Path and will do what I can to help that… but don’t think for a moment that I trust any of you, just as none of you should trust me or each other. By the end, the Path to Ascension will be littered with the broken bodies of the Detractor and the Unworthy and I have no intention of slowing in my dedication to the identification and destruction of both.

I read an article once about psychologists who helped battle video game addiction by creating character in the game worlds to be able to communicate with those who were addicted.

I interpreted the OOA’s actions as being similar – That we are addicted to these devices, and they use those very same devices to show us as much.

What better way to prove that we’re addicted than to provide a location that many of us are idling on, refreshing constantly throughout the day. We tear apart every piece of media that the OOA puts out as soon as they put it out, as though we’re starving for it.

In this way they’re simultaneously spreading their message and proving their point
