Today, Sentinel accepted me as one of their own.

For many months, I have been under their observation. They were the side that cared for Addison’s well being and wanted to help, which is how we found each other. It has taken almost the entirety of my time here for them to come to trust me; The BoS move at their own pace, on their own schedule.

I disagree with some of my fellow explorers here, and I only recognize two sides in this fight; The OOA, and the BoS. These are the choices people are presented, not a buffet of “I stand with X but against Y.”
I also wouldn’t have paraded privileged knowledge in quite the same way it was here today, but time is short and growing shorter, and I understand the need to emphasize that it is the OOA that keeps you in the dark.

If you choose to stand with BoS, your support is acknowledged, and you too will eventually have opportunities to show your pledge is sincere. There are no promises made, no glittering carrot dangling with a promise of undefined salvation, and no timeframe in which you should expect anything to occur; This is a group of people who see the OOA as the dangerous cult it is. Be sincere in your actions, and Sentinel always seems to notice.

– And they notice in plain, understandable English. Not scope, not mirror, nor mysterious creeping darkness.

There is no hidden glory. Just be.

By definition, the 4th wall is not part of the game, it is outside of the game, off the stage, beyond the orchestra pit. If anyone ever hears the fourth wall is breached, it means it’s not information to come back into the game, or the forum. Whether that information is mundane or exciting, is only meant for the person hearing it to know.

That anger is a result of the OOA, not the BoS. Please don’t be angry at me, or others trying to explain themselves here.

For months – MONTHS – I have been saying that Addison had changed, and that change was, as she put it, the result of the OOA and their ‘technologies’. I said she needed rescuing as others said I was mansplaining and shouldn’t try to rescue a strong independent woman, even as she was asking some of us to help her. The BoS’s warnings have been proven correct, their instincts have been proven correct; Are these entities really ‘exactly the same’ in your eyes?

Are you the same person that reached out to Russell and I? Have you become someone else, like you once warned me might happen?

Russell has faith you meant it when you said you will lead me through the darkness. Right now, we seem to be surrounded by that darkness; Where is the light?

@blondiecamps Addison told me the ‘cap’ (helmet) was changing who she was, causing immense pain as it did. I don’t know if all of that was a lie, or if ‘2’ is the Addison I knew, or if there is anything left of Addison to be saved. My gut says that this was not a long term plan from Addison, but maybe you’re right; Maybe I was just targeted as a soft touch, someone who could help her achieve this goal.

That said, was I ever asked to do anything that could helped this come about? The only Addison-related task I had seemed to be a message from ~Four.

I wonder if it’s time to say goodbye, to more than dead flowers.

@blondiecamps I promised Addison I would try and help rescue her from the situation she was trapped in. I haven’t broken that promise.

Addison has said she will lead me through the darkness. I don’t know what that means, but it doesn’t sound like abandonment to me – but you’re right, appointing Russell a Scribe might be a reward for him being so steadfast.

I know something neither Addison or Tension knows yet; Some incredible friends are helping ensure I am there for Ascension.

So I’m going to be there to see how this plays out, whether it’s being spat in the face by Addison, or led to salvation.

Should I even be using her former name? Is that something she identifies with any more? Is anyone else reading her message in her voice?
