Somehow I think I missed this thead!
Basic background about me, I’m a producer at an ad agency in LA. I spend a lot of time thinking about the production aspects of immersive experiences, haunts, theater, and through these, ways to push the boundaries of media through interactive experiences.

    1. Where are you located?
    Los Angeles

    2. How did you hear about The Tension Experience?
I honestly don’t remember. I think Facebook or Twitter? I was somehow linked to We Are Indie Horror, based on my browser history.

    3. When did you join our community?
    March 11, 2016

    4. What do you like most about this Experience?
I’m still not sure. I like immersive theater, so I’m looking forward to participating in an in-person event.

    5. How much do you consume Horror publications (podcasts, newsletters, blogs, etc)
    b. Extensive – I consume horror publications on a daily / near daily basis

5a. If you answered A-C on question 5, how likely would an ad on your favorite Horror publication have sparked your interest in something like The Tension Experience?
    b. Some – My interest would have increased, but it would depend on the ad
I would be more swayed by an article about it, not so much an ad.

    6. Which of the following would have been most likely to spark your interest in The Tension Experience?
    a. Endorsement by publication I trust

The Witness is a great puzzle game, certain elements in both puzzles and the way the narrative is presented remind me of Tension and other “experiences.”

I have yet to receive any sort of communication from the OOA, I’m not sure I even exist at this point – no emails, calls, anything other than mailing list stuff since I signed up. Called, messaged, everything.. no responses. Excited to hear what goes on this weekend!!

“Sentinel Being”‘s Facebook profile has one friend, Lunita Flores. Anyone know who this is?

    Edit: I just added her.

Could also be spambots that haven’t been active yet? I know nothing is random here, but I know that same naming structure is used on other forums like this as well as Reddit, where they create an account that’s [firstinitial][lastname][3 to 5 numbers], and then wait for a bit until they’ve been a member long enough that they don’t raise any flags or have posting restrictions, and then start spamming. Especially now that the accounts seem to have been deleted?

Worth keeping an eye on, but thinking this might be Occam’s razor?

I have received absolutely nothing from OOA, Tension, anyone since signing up a while ago. I did the questionnaire on the 1st, I’ve called every number, given them my info.. and still no acknowledgement whatsoever.

Trying to figure out if this new destination has anything we don’t already know, or if it’s just a repackaging of existing info.

The source of the image within the new content might mean something, and there’s some interesting alt text for the image,

There’s dark text at the bottom of the page, but it doesn’t seem to mean anything yet? But from the comments in the page’s source it looks like it might mean something at some point.

So I ran a whois lookup on the solution to the vision test using http://whoislookupdb.com. It gave me lat/long coordinates in Ashburn, Virginia. When I looked up the coordinates in google maps, it brought me to 43738 Hay Rd., Ashburn VA, 20146.

If you go to the exact coordinates given and look towards the house – behind which the sun is setting, going towards the light, etc., there’s a sign with a phone number posted.. they were out and I got an answering machine when I called earlier, but I’m going to try again later. With all the phone numbers floating around, it wouldn’t be surprising for there to be one more.

    Nothing is random..

Those look like spambot accounts to me. But probably worth keeping an eye on?

Slack is a group chatting instant message platform, lets you collaborate w/ team members in real time in different “channels.” Could definitely be helpful if enough people join.

No personal emails, no contact, nothing.. I’m trying to figure out if I’m missing something. I’ve done the questionnaire, called their numbers multiple times, solved all the puzzles, been semi-active on these forums, and still no movement.

@mumumusings – try thinking about what the pictures represent, and what you can spell using the letters that can be circled by each. It’s easier and quicker to click on the amulets in order to snap them to their respective available letters. Hopefully that makes sense without giving too much away.
