Well, it’s even trickier cause, if I recall correctly, some of the pages were altered after we found them.

Yes, it was there. Initially, we thought it was left by accident, but it is what led to the whole “nothing is random” discussion awhile back.
I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to website design, but apparently it is a standard page that is probably used to help format a website. Maybe @thegilded can explain more about it

could it be they want us to return to the puzzle button on he homepage? now that it’s a different time? I tried clicking on it and it no longer goes to the five senses puzzle. It’s a page not found message.

you mistake irritation for a statement of fact. people are free to feel and act however they choose. I’m not trying to say that it’s wrong, simply point it out. I’m sorry that it is bothering you, but my nature is one of skepticism.

Isn’t that what I’m already doing? I feel I’ve never been anything but myself on here. I may come across as gruff, but I am not trying to be mean, just honest to myself and others. I don’t think the gatekeepers have set a tone of holding anyone’s hand either.

Well, they are most definitely worshipping something, possibly a god or maybe something darker as @atticus360 mentions.
One thing I can say for certain is there is nothing hippy dippy about this, even though sometimes people act that way with goody two shoes stuff

Cody, I think you bring up a lot of interesting points including the idea that our paths are constantly evolving based on our choices and that we are further along on our paths than the newcomers so we should not use our knowledge to cloud their minds.

However, I don’t think you should apologize for bringing up the questions that you did. To me it was a breath of fresh air. There is a lot of back slapping and high-fiving on here, but very little actual analysis. I for one appreciate your in-depth posts and honesty.

A couple questions:
So are you saying you no longer feel tension? Or merely that you accept the tension you feel as part of the experience?
The reason I ask is some seem to feel no tension whatsoever…just a confidence in their direction on their chosen _path. Where does this confidence and assuredness come from? Are we ever truly sure we are on the correct _path? Sure the OOA can tell us, “you are now on the correct _path to Ascension.” But what does that mean? to accept what they tell us without doubt seems foolhardy to me, especially when they have told us repeatedly, “we are not who you think we are.”

I agree with both you guys. As far as immersive, extreme haunts go Blackout is probably my all time favorite, but it is definitely not for everyone. Heretic, also not for everyone, is probably the most adventurous. The creator is constantly pushing new boundaries and figure out new ways to play with horror scenarios.

On the less extreme side, delusion is probably my favorite, so I’m excited for them to get going again. I agree with mike that evil twin has been one of my favorites the last two years in a row. It’s a bummer they aren’t running this year. Alone has become much less extreme the past couple years. They are leaning more toward the art side of things and their price point has strayed getting pretty high. I think they are worth checking out, but they are not really falling in the horror spectrum anymore.

Once you get bitten by the immersive haunt bug, you can’t stop seeking them out. Be careful, you’re on the precipice of a rabbit hole! 😜
