After ascension, I can’t wait to descend into sin and debauchery with LUST.

I like the idea but it seems like a very challenging theme for interactive theater. Any ideas what the creators might have up their sleeves. The Garden of Eden instead of the OOA? I hope they are able to rewrite the rules once again allowing us to play for an evening outside our comfort zones and show us something new about desires. I can’t wait.

One of the pictures is of a blackboard with rules on it. I guess its rules for the handlers?

1. Keep each participant in their assigned(?) emotional zone.
2. Keep ____ control and emotionally distant.
3. Do not answer any questions.
4. About: ________ do not let participant feel comfortable
5. ______________ all participants properly (?).
6. Avoid eye contact at any cost, Force participants to reexamine identity.

Is anyone able to make out the smeared print. Anyone able to fill in the blanks?

@hazelcloud commentedL I feel that the handlers are doing just that through our journey through the halls- handling us. They know how to get you TENSE…. BUT it’s all a ruse- to see our reaction.

I agree, at Tension you are the star, you just don’t know it. Its your experience and your perception to it. The handlers are merely the mirror holders letting you look at your perceptions!

Data collection of emotional responses seems kind of interesting.

The whole Tension experience seems like a mini Stanford prison experiment. I know as an initiate attending the show I was amazed how quickly my behavior mirrored a submissive prisoner. My guess is that over time some of the actors actually get to enjoy their authoritarian roles and may even over time get to enjoy harassing the initiates and watching their reactions. For the producers, it might be actually kind of fun changing the roles of the actors like Addison giving and removing power to see their emotional response.

Another alternative to Ascension is taking the Heaven’s gate cult’s stairway to heaven – Phenobarbital mixed with apple sauce washed down with vodka.

Addisons path to me is either the virginal sacrificial lamb or the evil one. Not sure yet – I think it could go either way

I wonder how many second time visitors to Tension Expeience are subs? Submitting seems to be the delicious part of the experience

Its kind of interesting. I never thought I had a submissive bone in my body. But after going through the show the first time, I question it. I was unbelievable compliant and easily persuaded especially when the authority figure was a woman.

Everyone has a dark side. Do you think he sensed it because of your emotional honesty. Did you feel vulnerable?

During my visit the whole loss of control thing made me feel real vulnerable. In a strange way the vulnerability was also very sensually/sexually exciting.
