@irishalliwell120 – You are amazing. Thank you so much for this. It seems like years ago that you first appeared on the forums, then disappeared, then reappeared and @thegilded and I were having conversations about whether or not you were a real person or not. Funny how the world works š

I haven’t been back a 2nd time…yet….but this is really interesting to me
Is there any way we can confirm that this is the same Sadie that was (more than likely) working with Mark to recruit girls? If it is, I wonder if she messed up and therefore has to live inside instead of her apartment.

Now all we need, is an extension of dates ā¦
THIS. I know a few people that can’t swing the ticket price in October due to all the other haunts and experiences happening…the same haunts that inspired Tension š So technically, Tension should extend so that people can experience the inspiration…right? See what I did there?
In all seriousness, I have no idea the financials, but for the LA scene, we NEED this. If it’s feasible for the creators to keep doing this, then we will keep supporting it. I feel like the momentum is going so strong right now and eyes from different audiences keep seeing it thanks to things like the Verge video and articles like this one.

Wow…what a weekend to catch up on.
The last time we were all shocked by such a sudden “switch”, a Gatekeeper was murdered by one of our own….and it was also Addison who was behind it. So what’s the REAL plan for @electrichippo? Sorry, I just don’t buy that the switch was on it’s own, specially with comments like this one:
Iām not sure which recent events you are thinking of, but the ones that most readily come to my mind do nothing but make my bond with BOS stronger. Vengeance has become a word that fascinates me.
We’ve seen this before. We’ve seen the change. We’ve seen the friends play along with the “how could you”s and “wtf”s. It’s just a matter of time now.
Also kind of funny that the usual shit talking isn’t happening about this swtich. Maybe those people know something we don’t? It’s all about who you know.

Here’s the thing about a dictatorship…when one person is in charge, they can do what they want, with (seemingly) no input from anyone else, and sometimes, changes are made based on personal opinion and emotion. So to force this leadership team on the community is not right. When Addison says this “What transpired between @electrichippo and myself is for her, I, and the RED ROOM” – how is that good leadership for the community you’re trying to lead? We are The One, and we had no say in this?
We, the people, want answers as to “why”. She then said that in order to get those answers to come “back inside my halls, and we can discuss this personally.” So already, people who want answers and who want to ask questions are put to a disadvantage. It’s uneven ground. Why not have a Periscope of the Union and let us all know? Why do these answers have to come in secret?

But there is a 3rd (or could possibly get tied in with “rational”)….but…Fear. Fear plays a major roll in a lot of choosing (not just sides, but in general). Fear can manipulate you. Fear can make you do things you never thought you would, or could, do. Fear can push you over the edge. I mean, if we’re talking about leaders, take a look at what happened in Germany.
I think Fear can lead into the rational, but instead, it’s more of a “Oh, if I don’t play along, I, or someone I love, might get killed”. If they don’t follow the “fear” leader, then they might not…live

Don’t confuse my words kind sir. I never said she was a manipulator. I said that if people are loyal to her instead of a cause, and they follow HER instead of beliefs they have, then it can lead to that sort of power. I don’t believe she has said “why”. I don’t think it’s something to really question when you’re put in that position. Actually, do we even know if she was asked? or was she told?

@taysavestheday – Loyalty to her or BoS? Because if it’s loyalty to her, then she’s basically a pied piper and can/will manipulate anyone into whatever her agenda is. I hope that’s not the case and BoS members actually had loyalty to the cause of exposing the truth of the OOA and rescuing Addison.
I still have my own personal opinions and theories about why she joined back and I will ask Addison myself at some point in the future about it. Until then…I can only go off of what I see and read on the forums, not in back alley talks (rip)

@taysavestheday – your theory is good, but you’re assuming one big major point….that people will just blindly follow Kim to the OOA. Everyone in BoS can choose what they want to do as their _path is their own. I hope (for funsies) that there are those who remain loyal to the cause they fought for and do cause more trouble and rifts. Also, you’re assuming that people in the OOA are all happy and blindly approve of this, which may not be the case.

@electrichippo – Fair enough. Also, by mentioning “tone”, I hope you didn’t take anything I’ve said as an “attack”. It hasn’t been at all. Just questions from someone who doesn’t understand (many things) haha
Also, I do have a question…for arguments/discussion sake. You said this “I tend to feel she is more reasonable and understanding than that. She might even understand the pain and anger I experienced over the harm that came to my friend.” and I will preface my question by saying I do not know what was said between you or if more was said, but, Overseer is in charge and calls the shots correct? Then to me, your friends beating seems to be under her watch and possibly even a directive given by her. If not by her, then someone in the organization that reports to her. If this is true, why align yourself with someone who has done this to one of your friends (mostly a rhetorical question).
Things like this are why I wonder and question changes

@electrichippo – I’m not trying to rebuke everything you said. The point I was trying to make with quoting you was not about a death, but the fact that the event left your bond with BoS stronger. So, to me, it’s a head scratcher that you had such a strong bond a couple weeks ago and now that bond seems to be gone as you are now the Overseer’s right hand woman and even said “Glory Be”…a phrase which you have questioned why people would say in the past.
Also – “If someone did this to Aleister” – I don’t remember you being vengeful when III said he had put Alesiter on ice

My image of her being brainwashed and vulnerable helps me appreciate that there need to be someone at her side who is assertive and protective.
I’m glad Overseer is there for her as well
