Did anyone get the first song?

Sure, the basics can be found here. Weekly updates posting details of the week can be found here, although at this time we only have 2 weeks compiled.
Further details on people can be found here and the currently active people can be found here
That should at least get you the basics. Anything further, you’re more than welcome to start threads with specific questions, this forum is dedicated for such a thing.

I had coffee and some fruit at the mixer. Depending on their reach, anyone at the bar before/after the hood event could be compromised as well. All of our food/drink could have been compromised, they knew we were there and possibly had an agent there

I just received a call from the OSDM as well. Same format, he asked me a couple questions, primarily related to my role as Sentry. What the role entails, what I do, that sort of thing.
The topic of conversation then shifted to III, although he was more concerned with whether or not I had ever signed anything and given it to them. I let him know that I signed a couple things, like the NDA for the hood event and the waiver for the Mixer. He asked me to confirm, then left off with the phrase “So you’re telling me that it’s likely they have a copy of your signature on their servers”. I confirmed that was the case, at which point he thanked me and hung up.
He never asked me about addresses or who I thought III would choose, or anything like that.

I’d bet more that this is OSDM panicking and reaching out to any avenue for possible information regarding III

Welcome! You’re definitely in the right forum, the stickies here and topics here should get you at least partially up to speed. Being local hasn’t stopped others from getting set up on their path, and there have been experiences for others who are out of town so you’re neither alone nor safe from the OOA.
To start, do you have any questions?

Correct. Puzzles and such ABSOLUTELY lend context to what it is that we’re all seeing and solving them helps solve the ultimate question of what all of this is, but it is not required in order for the OOA to notice you.
Just talking on here, theorizing, giving your reaction, anything at all on the forums is normally enough to get noticed. Be aware that it’s not a trade, though. Sometimes attention may take a long time to come, you aren’t trading posts for attention. You’re supporting and partaking in a community in which community members sometimes get special events or interactions.

@blondiecamps – Right now it’s just theorizing, Tension hides meaning in all kinds of places.
For example, I was curious about the songs because the song before it opened with the phrase “It was down in Chinatown”. So I was curious to see if there were any locations in LA’s Chinatown that were named the Ritz where a dead drop may have been located. Didn’t find anything, but it’s still worth looking.
The lyrics may be significant in that the song before it speak of a woman who is taking a large amount of drugs and having her boyfriend come after her, which may be referring to Addison in some way. Puttin’ on the Ritz may be a followup to that implying that Addison was worse off when she was with Benny/Mark, and now that she’s with 4 she’s living the high life.

We’re reasonably certain that 4 and Addison are separate, I’ve been in a room with 4 while Addison was downstairs, for example.
But the becoming II theory… that’s highly possible.

@jeromy – Ah, now that is an absolutely fair concern over the OOA and one that many others shares as well. To that I would argue that a huge if not the primary goal of The Tension Experience is not to recruit for the OOA but rather for the whole experience.
Even if you think that the OOA is lying to you and deliberating misleading all of us, there’s a lot going on here. Just helping with puzzles, with theories, and with just talking about what’s going on with Addison, III, the OSDM etc is more than enough to get you noticed and do not require allegiance to any entity at all.
Some do ally themselves with one faction or another around here, and the factions themselves may ask that of you but you don’t have to in order to get anything out of the Experience. The Tension Experience and the OOA are not precisely the same thing, it is possible to be part of Tension without being a part of the OOA yet

@jeromy – I’m concerned that you’re fixated on a part of Tension that you disagree with, which is only a part of the experience. Tension has, since moment one, repeated variations of the idea that you only get what you put in. To some, that means recruiting. People have gotten increased amount of interaction with Tension solely by recruiting and spreading the word. That’s okay, that’s certainly one way to be noticed, but it is NOT the only way to do so.
Others, like myself, have done essentially nothing other than just post on the forums. You do NOT need blind faith in the OOA or anything in order to be noticed here. Kim (@electric_hippo) has been noticed repeatedly and she certainly has no allegiance to the OOA. All that The Powers That Be ask is activity. Talking about things that have happened, theorizing about stuff that will happen, even just talking about what you do and do not like about Tension, these are all ways to get noticed.
However, many people will not view this necessarily as fair. This isn’t a trade. You don’t get a phone call after X number of posts or recruiting Y number of people. The Experience has a whole lot to talk about. Those that talk about it sometimes get pieces that further the story. Those that recruit others to talk about it sometimes get pieces that further the story. Those that help others get started after joining sometimes… you get it. If all you want is to do the minimum amount of work to get a phone call or a face to face meeting then you’re going to be sorely disappointed because it doesn’t work that way.

Question from Cody’s call: “Then I was asked if I knew of there being any food or drinks served at any live events.
He then asked if I knew anyone within the community whom had consumed food or drink at any live events.”The implication being that something being eaten/drank at an event may have in some way have negative effects on us

Don’t taunt too hard. If they got mine, they got yours too

The feeling I got was that the OSDM has so far been uninvolved in the OOA’s dealings and events so now need to play catch up. I suspect they don’t really know what GK5, GK4 or III actually did, so they’re reaching out and calling us to get up to speed
Maybe you were targeted because he thought you knew info even if you didn’t have direct dealings with III, or maybe you were called just because they’re just trying to reach out to active Disciples.

Extremely possible, but whether he has some sort of ability to control people directly or has enough control over someone to get the person to stab a friend despite his desire not to, he’s got some kind of control over them.
Either version makes him somewhat terrifying
