If anyone else wants to take action instead of just hoping she’s ok, please share this poster – in person, on social media, wherever. It doesn’t matter if you want to believe she’s safe and everything that happened yesterday is in her best interest, we need confirmation of her safety one way or another. I’m taking a field trip a little later today to put a few copies in a certain possibly meaningful neighborhood.

Thank you for posting this, and giving us something more challenging to chew on than another vague puzzle. Every day it becomes increasingly difficult to see the reasoning behind the actions of the OOA. Between Sunday’s community building ceremony consisting of coffee, donuts, and public humiliation followed by violence, and today’s apparent promotion of self harm in the name of something the organization itself is afraid to talk about, it’s been a doozy.

I’ve been thinking hard about everything that’s been happening this week, and I think it’s time we got some answers to these growing questions.

I’ve been thinking about this as well. Personally, there have been times when I know I’ve gone dark on the forums for a few days, so it might not be anything, but it is pretty weird that she’s disappeared after such an eventful weekend.

It would be great to have her thoughts on everything that went down, as she said herself she’s been kind of thrown into the deep end.

I heard that he was supposed to have been there, but I don’t think anyone met him, or if they did, he did not make his name known.

I honestly believe he wasn’t in the room with us, exactly, but rather at the bar next door. At one point after the scuffle when we were milling about the room, a chubbier, older man, thin curly hair, strutted into the room from behind the accordion curtain and consulted with the security guard for a moment before turning around and sitting back down at the bar, the accordion curtain closing behind him.

He definitely seemed suspicious – he was sweating through his heather grey t-shirt in an otherwise cool space, as though he was nervous about something.

Thinking about it in this context.. there have been more than a couple mentions of moving to darkness. Light2Dark. Referencing two paths – one light, one dark. “A new dusk.”

It happened SO quickly we never had a chance to react, especially since we didn’t know what was happening at the moment. I know I felt like a deer in the headlights.

And any sort of strategic communication throughout was very difficult (and entirely restricted for some) throughout the event, the OOA leadership present had a way of working the room, making sure discussions they didn’t want happening were NOT happening.

Same. The context around her being at the event on Sunday is definitely raising a lot of dark questions about the OOA.
