1) the more I thought about the image being sexual or exploitative, the more I could see where people were coming from. But I’ve figured it out. It’s very Tatu-esque. Totally unintentional but I think that’s why we attribute a slight fetishistic element to it… Personally, the image is really growing on me and I’d love to frame a print of it for my study
2) this is the first “different” thing that has cropped up in Tension since the diary. We’ve had tonnes of periscopes. But they’re fleeting and (with the utmost respect) repetitive in terms of what they are trying to achieve. So we seized on this because it was intriguing and emotive. It’s a sign that we are still hungry for answers and that is only a good thing in my opinion.
Everyone, EVERYONE, knows we have it. Have we been approached by a representative of the OOA or Addison or anyone else requesting its return? Not as far as I am aware. So it’s obviously not that effing important now is it?
Oooh rumours. Well we all know that means it’s a fact then… ffs. I can’t say what Sentinel was in the past. All I know is Sentinel and BOS as they are now. And we are not friends of the OOA.
Kim is asking an interesting and important question which I would love to see an actual ANSWER to rather than yet another BOS-bashing party.
@darthzannah A belated welcome from me! Geeking out is actively encouraged and if you love the MHL podcasts then you have impeccable taste It’s probably not much use as of yet but I have a little blog – there are a few links on there you might not have seen. It’s not much to look at yet, but gonna be rolling out lots of stuff over the next week so thought it was worth mentioning.
@dimstyle I’m just planning on living vicariously through those that do go and I am totally gonna be telling my story of my Tension phone call to my grandkids one day…
With pleasure Megan. Maybe when I’ve been around in Tension for as long as you have, I’ll have developed the energy and means to pull rank and be rude and overreact to the same extent.
Max had the diary in his possession for how long? And we all had to fight to get what ended up being pretty much unreadable pictures of the pages.
As soon as the book ended up in our hands, you were immediately provided with high-quality, usable images of the entire diary and therefore something substantial to analyse.
Can someone explain to me exactly how this makes us the bad guys? Please. I am mystified…
