This world has made monsters of us all.
Who are we, underneath these layers of identity? What essence murmurs from beneath the pieces of self we put on like so much jewelry?
We… are no one. We are everyone. We are the lie.
Have we forgotten? Do we still imagine that our words are our own anymore? That has never been, nor ever will be.
If you want to see the face that speaks the message, you do not hear the message.
If you judge the message by the sender, then you fail to understand it.
If you listen for the logic through the parts of your body, then you do not seek the truth.
What is in the book does not matter except that it is the book. There was never anything in the box. The answers are right there, but we do not speak the language.
The Tao that can be spoken is not the true Tao.
Until we embrace this darkness, we will not see dawn.

The order is being undone. “Four minus three equals two” makes sense – but now, what do we have? I cannot say what the result of three minus four will be, but I do fear it will be a negative one.

There are no boundaries to this experience. That being said, the boundlessness exists only within your subjectivity. You will continue to see synchronicities, and they will continue to intersect with your life – the struggle is in recognizing that you cannot prove anything. Pareidolia is only a fallacy of logic when you mistake its domain as being universal, forgetting that you *are* a universe, a range of self, and that all of these things exist for you. The root of madness is the expectation that your experience is understandable to others in a way that can be objectively demonstrated. Were there an equation or proof that we could show which cast our infinite complexity like an image from a magic lantern upon a screen, then we would lose our purpose, and all uncertainty would collapse. As such, we can only hint through metaphor the reality of our existential aporia, humming faint strains from the songs of mermaids, singing each to each, and hoping for the day they sing to us.

This one pops out as an often-overlooked and inimitably weird one: The ABCs of Death (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1935896/). It’s a collaboration with 26 filmmakers, and it ranges from hilarious to disturbing (with a domain of hilariously disturbing)…

We may also want to consider adding the previous red letters from IV’s note to III: FY. Since the theory that it stood for the date 6/25 didn’t pan out, it remains an unsolved mystery. Could adding it to “CSpath.-” yield any result? Have there been any other red letters that we’ve missed in previous documents? Could it just be a literally-red herring?
Here’s what the numbers look like for the letters:
C – 3
S – 19
p – 16
a – 1
t – 20
h – 8
–
.
Numerologically, adding up each until you get a single sum from the letters yields this: 3 1 7 1 2 8 – .Adding F (6) and Y (25) to the mix would give 6 7 3 1 7 1 2 8 – .
So far, ideas that have sprung up from this include Lat./Long. coordinates (not sure where we’d place the decimal point, though), a phone number (there are only enough digits to form one if we include the FY as part of the area code and treat – and . as 0s (?)), or an IP address (though, again, where it breaks up is suspect since there are not enough digits there to form the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (where each xxx is between 001 and 255) format.
Suffice it to say, no suggestions can be ruled out as too far-fetched at this point!
Thanks, @chicar, for reviving this topic, as it is indeed an interesting mystery!

Is this why @reaton was explicitly prohibited from riding in the car? What hidden machinations are at work here?

I think so – I’ll find out on Tuesday, when @nosnevets and I sally forth to where we think we’re supposed to go…

I figured that OSDM, being “Oracles Security and Data Management,” was the organization tasked with handling the (albeit sketch-af) stock-investment side of the OOA, and the nefarious dealings were being “whistle-blown” as a ruse to cause a coup, which was organized by III as his first attempt to undo them and establish control. That would make Sam just an unwilling pawn in the game, and yet another victim of III’s hubris.

Well, technically, we don’t know that we can’t travel back in time, but we do know that if we can travel back in time, then we have already traveled back in time from the point where we unlocked that achievement. Either way, your logic is sound, and everything that has happened has to have happened, and we have only the present to work from.

The implication is that in the past (who knows how long ago?) Anoch was more direct with communication. They feel abandoned and lonely, so they’ve decided to fight the abdication with a mutiny by allowing III to declare himself as the final Gatekeeper and war against Anoch (probably to provoke its wrath and thus confirm existence). It is the act of a child who does not see the larger picture.
