@sovereignskies you are correct in that all of us are being played. I also agree that a negative could create a positive and bad must be done to clear the way for good. Focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the right decisions are not the easy ones.
I once had a sergeant major, just before Afghanistan, tell me… Don’t try to reason it. Don’t look for the answer. You are here to commit violence on the evil… You are their day of reckoning. The weak of this country, the ones that want to live, to farm, to raise families. The taliban won’t allow it. You are that violence, you are that vengeance, you are that day of reckoning.
Go out and execute extreme violence.
Now some may look as that as some brainwashed infantry bs but I will say this…
The scared, the poor, the children. They wanted us there so they could just live.

We don’t know everything. We don’t know what is going on behind the scenes. We are only shown pieces. Pieces to shape how the presenter wants us to view the narrative.
