I can’t believe I’m actually pissed I’m on vacation. I want OOA adventures too!

I’m so happy I decided to pop into the forums today. Yesterday was so full of family activities that I had no time whatsoever to devote here. I managed to find about an hour today so here I am! This letter was so fascinating. 4 was a real card huh? I’m going to miss the sassy assy posts. Though I must say I’m waiting with bated breath for us to be virtually acquainted with III.
You guys are all amazing and I wish I could do much more right now but alas, I’m still in a paradise of sorts. I’ll return Tuesday late late late so hopefully I’ll be able to jump in on an adventure soon!

I don’t know for sure, but during the ceremony her purse was wide open, and her phone in plain sight. It was begging to be called out but being so new I didn’t wanna rock the boat. Again I go back to Addison’s words “you’re instincts are correct.” Damn it.

If Addison came to LA to be an actress, I wonder if her sins have to do with participating in the pop culture machine. Or heaven forbid what she might have done to try and become a success in the entertainment industry. 😟😢

Upon arriving, I met and chatted with several of my fellow Apostles outside the event hall. I overheard someone say they had their cellphone still on them and they were gonna take it in with them. They were right behind me as we single file entered the room. I received a warm welcome from a lovely woman named Mary and a yellow rose from a younger woman named Addison. From behind me I can hear Mary ask the person behind me if they had their phone on them, and they responded no. It threw me off guard to hear a bald faced lie right behind me. That’s when the photographer yelled at me to pay attention. She took my picture and I walked further into the room.

I met some other Apostles while grabbing a cup of coffee. There were many ceramic mugs to choose from and a few styrofoam cups, I opted for the styrofoam. I notice a tall black man in a suit sitting near the back snack table, as well as a very cheery old man in a cream suit dancing. I choose a table very near the front. Sipping on my coffee I notice a young girl in black sitting silently across the room closer to the stage. The dancing man came over to me, read my name tag, and pulled me aside to tell me a joke. The same joke Sean was told so I won’t recount the whole thing, but what stuck out to me what he mention two car models(57 Pontiac, and 57 Plymouth. By now the memory is ever so slightly foggy so it could be one or both of these). I enjoyed the man’s company, we laughed, I returned to me seat. I then see Sean come through the back door, his cheery demeanor from earlier now erased. This I could not take my eyes off of. That’s when Addison notices me. She beckoned me to come speak with her. I obliged. She then got in real close and very quietly told me (paraphrase) “Trust your gut. Whatever your intincts are, they’re correct.” She then drew a symbol on my name tag. Most others received a proper X on their tags and mine was definitely not an X but an x-like symbol. I say “thank you” and go to a different table to sit closer to a friend (Ben). Everything else that occurred has already been accounted for in detail by others, but that was my personal experience before the ceremony began.

It was so wonderful to meet you all and I look forward to seeing you all again. Glory be!

I was told the joke too Sean. The car models I remember hearing were ’57 Plymouth and ’57 Pontiac. Could 57p or the year 1957 have significance?

I agree @thegilded. Even though I worry about Addison, I wouldn’t directly go against the OOA in such a manner.

Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but I feel like when I was first signing up, and watching every video and trying to play catch up, there was something that had to do with saying “wasting our time on media and pop culture” or something to that effect. If I’m wrong, then I guess I’m just projecting. HA!

Agreed. Her nervous energy made sense the minute we all learned she was about to get all kinds of naked.

the last three days I’ve been slaving over what Addison said to me in our private yet brief moment:
“Whatever your instincts are telling you, they’re correct.”
Well, my instincts are telling me something fucking stinks. Oh, language. Sorry.

Anyway, I can’t help but feel I too didn’t do or say something I was supposed to. I hope she’s okay.

We were asked to leave our things in our vehicle but I’m getting a ride there, would I be able to put my stuff in any of your cars? I just don’t know how I’d be able to get back home later if I had to leave everything at home.
