Holy shit, what did I miss in the last 3 weeks? Periscope’s been buzzing almost every day and when I finally have time to return to the forums I find this? Anyone willing to provide a quick recap?

I also would rather the illusion not be broken. I believe that it was our community’s concern for Buz, rather than a desire to see Tension… sterilized- that led to the aforementioned emails. I haven’t been here long, but I have immersed myself in the narrative, and the elements where it blurs reality are by far the best of it. Hopefully with this cleared up we can all return to our roles we have chosen to play in this story. Thank you for taking a moment to step out from behind the curtain and address our concerns, however.

All I can do is reiterate what other have said. If you need help, we as a whole community are here for you, no matter how fractured we may appear on the surface.

It’s good to hear from you again, @regent7. You are the voice of clarity, cutting through the chaotic maelstrom. It would appear that this face to face is going to yield some interesting results, I trust @atticus360 to make the right decision.

AT LONG LAST, THE OOA IS A THING AGAIN! Nice to see that they revived the Aleister Gordon account. I wait with bated breath for the OOA’s next move. I wonder if they plan to support Addison, or if they’re strengthening I…

It’s good to hear back from you, @electrichippo, glad you’re okay. I hope you don’t mind another question. You said that Addison returned after about a minute being outside, which lines up with the video, and that when she came back she appeared changed. Was it just her posture/facial expression, or was there more to it than that? I guess what I’m asking is did she look like she was, pardon the pun, in control? Or did she appear to be manipulated, coerced, or under some sort of (possibly supernatural) influence?

I often get bored with horror movies, they’re far too predictable. I do have a soft spot for classic B-list slasher movies, though- excessive gore never stops being funny. While not horror, I would like to throw Black Mirror in here. It’s less the content itself that is disturbing, it’s the implications that it leaves. Back on the horror front, I put forth Ju-On, which was much scarier than its American release as The Grudge, and Event Horizon.

Good luck, gents, I hope your faith in Addison isn’t misplaced. Colour me intrigued, I want to know more about these actions that she is hinting at…

I started around the same time as Blondie and Ale, but I’m more… reserved. I’ll join the discussion about plot events, but I don’t really throw myself into the community as much- and it shows. I’m typically a very private individual, and I extend that into my experience here with Tension.

To be fair, it wouldn’t be the first time that a community member has had the opportunity to assassinate a Gatekeeper. @electrichippo chose to ally herself with a person who, at the time, was the only known murderer to us. @thebuz had his own opportunity, and he decided to end @gatekeeper3. I would also like to make a point that the end of @gatekeeper3 seems to be a return to the normal pattern of events, where the previous Gatekeeper is removed from play when a new one appears. The end of III was to happen sooner or later, but it would appear that some members of our community decided to take a more… proactive approach to restoring the status quo.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I can’t wait to hear more from Addison, I am liking what I am hearing thus far. This is an authoritative voice with direction and vision. I don’t think Addison needs any more saving, ladies and gentlemen; she’s come into her own, and I can’t deny how thrilled I am to see where she takes us. My uncertainty has been discarded and I find stand with the OOA. Glory be, and may we never falter on our path.

It’s intriguing to see the “old hands” expressing the same discontent and uncertainty as those of us who are new. I stated that I felt ~four was the most qualified and stable as a leader, and I stand by that. III is a traitor- he has betrayed those who followed him once, what’s to say he won’t do it again? Despite his announcement that he is with the BoS now, I feel that he will turn on them as well when the time comes. He knows that to them he’s just a tool to be disposed of, so even if III and the BoS win, there’ll be a long and bloody fight over control afterward. While Addison has a lot of people who are attached to her from prior events, I think that we need to think of her as a different person at this point. She’s an unknown variable, and I’m waiting to get a sense of her current condition before I make a decision about her. As it is, many of us are still gathering information- calling waiting to make an informed decision during a time of instability cowardice is insulting.
EDIT: The last bit was meant to be addressed toward @thegilded
